January 4, 2018: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leader in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), is pleased to announce that it will be presenting at the 2018 Gulf Coast Conference  on January 17, 2018. The Conference, which supports the petrochemical and refining sector, will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

ATL is scheduled to give two talks during the Conference that are focused on the use of laboratory automation in the oil and gas industry. Both presentations have been conveniently been scheduled back-to-back on the morning of January 17th.

Finding the Perfect LIMS in the Petrochemical and Refining Sectors is targeted at petrochemical and refining organizations that are looking to implement a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and looking for guidance on making the right choice. We will focus on the critical points to remember during the selection process and walk through a list of proven LIMS selection and implementation best practices that will help ensure your LIMS project is a success. We will also discuss key LIMS features that are critical for laboratories supporting petrochemical and refining companies.

Laboratory Automation Today in the Oil & Gas Industry will be a seminar on how laboratories in the oil and gas industry are implementing modern laboratory automation solutions to increase productivity and data quality while reducing costs and achieving a strong return on investment.

At the center of a robust lab automation solution is a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). We'll also discuss the importance of instrument integration, electronic notebooks, bar coding and secure customer portals as essential pieces of a complete solution.

ATL, headquartered in West End, NC, provides laboratory management solutions to a variety of industries from analytical, environmental, food & beverage, water and wastewater, chemical, oil & gas, government, public health, clinical testing and manufacturing. ATL's LIMS products are installed in over 575 laboratories around the world and supported by a steadfast commitment to excellence in product quality, support and training.

The Gulf Coast Conference (GCC) is a non-profit organization oriented toward the education and advancement of knowledge of chemical analysis technology associated with the petrochemical, refining and environmental fields. The GCC will forward this goal through annual technical meetings, regular communications, and training courses focused on these fields.
